The FIRE element seems to be sheepishly showing itself in the weather lately. When the sun does arrive with its warmth and light, it enthusiastically propels us into a state of excitement and joy — this is a quality of the FIRE element. When gone, it reflects the gloom felt in our hearts. These days, the sun’s appearance and quick disappearance reflects the mixed feelings of fired up hope and burnt out despair. It reminds us to moderate our expectations and to safely prepare for the splendid warmth of the coming summer season.
